Mr. Gourav Ramesh Pednekar

Bio

Gourav Ramesh Pednekar is a passionate and dedicated academician with a strong foundation in both commerce and management. With over 12 years of teaching experience across renowned institutions in Maharashtra and Karnataka, he is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, since November 2023. He holds an M.Com., MBA, and has qualified UGC NET in both Commerce and Management.

He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Christ University, Bengaluru, with a research focus on “Investors’ Perception on Earnings Management in FMCG and FMCD Companies Listed on BSE in Maharashtra.” His academic interests center around financial transparency, earnings quality, and accounting practices that influence investor decisions—topics he integrates seamlessly into his teaching methodology.

Gourav has published eight research papers in indexed journals, spanning diverse themes such as international marketing, floriculture entrepreneurship, advertising linguistics, ethical information systems, vocational education, and customer behavior. He has also presented academic papers and teaching cases at esteemed conferences hosted by institutions like Christ University and Visvesvaraya Technological University.

With certification in German language (up to B1 level) and formal training in computer applications, he brings a global and tech-savvy approach to higher education. Known for his student-centric mindset and interdisciplinary outlook, Gourav Pednekar continuously strives to make business education relevant, reflective, and research-driven.
