Dr. Ganesh Shivaji Ingle

Bio

Prf. Dr. Ganesh Ingle is an Associate Professor in Department of Civil Engineering at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. He has completed his Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from College of Engineering Pune (COEP) in the year 2018, received his B. E. in Civil Engineering from Govt. College of Engineering, Amravati in the year 2000 and Masters (M. E. Civil) in Geotechnical Engineering in the year of 2003, from College of Engineering Pune (COEP). He is working with MIT-WPU since August 2008 and has been teaching various subjects like soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, soil structure and interaction, concrete technology, construction materials and advanced transportation Engineering. As a part of Ph. D work, he has indigenously designed and developed a Laboratory Full scale Accelerated Pavement Testing Set Up (APT) in COEP campus through an R&D Grant of 13.5 Lac. This is a unique facility which is not available in India where the performance of any pavement can be tested within a short period. It was also applied for Indian Patent. He has published more than 15 research papers in Scopus and SCI Journals and also published three Indian Patent and one Australian Patent granted on stabilization of soil. He is also doing Testing and consultancy in the field of Geotechnical Engineering and completed more than 4.0 Lac testing and consultancy related to slope stability analysis in Chiplun, Dapoli area as well as geotechnical investigation for SBC of soil for some of the project. He also conducted the training sessions for Border Road Organization (BRO) Engineers related to Geotechnical aspects during road constructions. He also received the BCUD Grants of 1.40 Lac.
