Mrs. Diksha Dinar Bedekar

Bio

Prof. Diksha Bedekar is an academician with over 15 years of teaching experience at the School of Business, MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune. and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the adoption of sustainable consumption behaviour under Marketing specialization.

She has served as the Program Head of BBA (International Business) and has been actively engaged in administrative roles, curriculum design, and academic restructuring in line with the guidelines of NEP 2020. At present, she is a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at MIT-WPU, where she contributes to Communication and Documentation and has played an important role in institutional quality processes, including NAAC accreditation cycles. She is also a Board of Studies Member at Modern College, Pune, and her research contributions span Consumer Behavior pertaining to Sustainable Consumption. She has presented papers at several national and international conferences, including those hosted by IIMs and leading B-Schools in India. She has received a research grant for her doctoral work and has been awarded the Best Paper Award for her Ph.D. research.

In addition, Prof. Bedekar successfully completed a 45-day Faculty Development Programme at IIM Ahmedabad and is an alumnus of the institute. Her academic pursuits are complemented by her strong passion for environmental sustainability and integrating sustainable practices into management education.
