Bio
Dr. Dibyangana Chakraborty is an accomplished academician and researcher with a Ph.D. in Economics from the renowned Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. She joined MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) in July 2024, where she currently serves as a faculty member, teaching Managerial Economics, Statistics, and Research Methodology to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the BBA and MBA programs.
With a strong foundation in applied economics, Dr. Chakraborty’s research interests lie at the intersection of Rural Economy, Livelihood Studies, and Development Economics. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to understanding grassroots economic challenges and contributing to policy- oriented solutions that support sustainable development.
Dr. Chakraborty has presented her research at numerous prestigious national and international conferences and has several peer-reviewed publications to her name.
