Dr. Chandrashekhar Digambarrao Bobade

Bio
Dr. Chandrashekhar D. Bobade is an accomplished academician, researcher, and academic leader and career blog writer with over 17 years of experience in pharmaceutical education and research. He is a DHR–ICMR International Fellow (Government of India, 2025–26) and a DST-SERB & INSA Travel Grant Awardee (Government of India, 2023, USA). Currently, he serves as the President of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Pune (2024–26).
Dr. Bobade is an active member of the Biopolymers and Drug Delivery Research Group, with a strong research focus on advanced drug delivery systems and biomaterials. His scholarly work has been published in high-impact international journals, including RSC, ACS, and Springer Nature. He has received multiple research and travel grants from SPPU, DST-SERB, and INSA, Pharmacy council of India including support for presenting his research at ACS Fall 2023, USA.
His leadership journey spans key academic and administrative roles such as UG Program Head and Research Coordinator, contributing significantly to institutional growth and academic governance. As a committed professional leader, he holds lifetime memberships in ACS, IPA and APTI and continues to strengthen professional networks at regional and national levels.
An engaging educator and mentor, Dr. Bobade has delivered over 20 invited talks on pedagogy, research methodology, and professional skill development. Widely recognized as a motivational speaker, effective communicator, and dynamic administrator, he inspires students and faculty alike
With 17 research articles, 6 review papers, 6 patent applications, and 25 international conference presentations, Dr. Bobade continues to make impactful contributions to pharmaceutical sciences. His work is guided by a clear mission—to inspire minds, foster innovation, and lead transformative growth in academia and research.
