Dr. Basant Tiwari

Bio
Dr. Basant Tiwari is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune. He brings extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programs across national and international universities.
Dr. Tiwari has authored numerous research papers published in national and international journals and conferences, with over 25 publications indexed in SCI and Scopus. He has also contributed to edited handbooks published by Springer, Taylor & Francis, and IGI Global. Additionally, he has actively participated in various national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, and symposiums.
His current research focuses on Cyber Security in Pervasive Computing, with special emphasis on applications in Healthcare, Internet of Things (IoT), and Data Analysis.
Dr. Tiwari is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, as well as a Life Member of CSI and IACSIT. He has been honored with leadership roles such as Bhopal Representative in the IEEE M.P. Sub-section, Secretary of CSI Bhopal Chapter, and Secretary of ACM Indore Chapter.
He has organized several national and international conferences, delivered invited talks, and have served as session chair for technical sessions. He is also an active reviewer for reputed international journals including IEEE, Springer and ACM.
Dr. Tiwari holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal, and earned his Ph.D. from Devi Ahilya University, Indore (M.P.), Bharat.
