Bio
Dr. Asim Samanta is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Health Sciences and Technology at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune, India. He holds an M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, and a PhD from the Department of Pharmacy at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He qualified GATE 2005 with an All India Rank of 46. Dr. Samanta has over two years of postdoctoral research experience at NUS and the University of the Pacific, California, USA, along with nine years of extensive industrial experience at Johnson & Johnson and Encube Ethicals. His expertise lies in Novel Drug Delivery System, Process Analytical Technology (PAT), NIR and Raman spectroscopy, chemometrics, multivariate data analysis, and Quality by Design (QbD). He has published widely in reputed international journals and has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences.
