Bio

Dr. Arun Prakash is an Assistant Professor at MIT World Peace University, Pune with a focus on Photography, Cinematography, Qualitative Research and Online Content Creation. With a UGC NET & JRF (Junior Research Fellow) qualification, he has a total of four years of work experience, including three years in the industry and one year of teaching.

Prior to joining MIT World Peace University, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University, where he was responsible for both teaching and administrative duties. He also has professional experience in the media industry, specializing in Photography, Cinematography, and Graphic Designing.

Dr. Prakash holds a PhD degree in ""Film Studies"" from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He also earned his BA (Hons.) & MA in Mass Communication from BHU, specializing in Television Radio & Films. He was a part of the Indian delegation that represented India at the 2017 WFYS (World Festival for Youth & Sports) in Russia, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

Dr. Prakash has attended various Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), national and international seminars, and conferences. He has presented and published multiple research papers in Scopus and UGC Care listed Journals/ Book chapters. Moreover, he has an Indian patent on the Impact of Digital and Social Media on Customer Behavior.

With his diverse experience, Dr. Prakash brings a unique perspective to the classroom and encourages his students to think critically and creatively.
