Bio
Dr. Anu Nair is a dedicated academician with over 13 years of experience in media and communication education, academic administration, and curriculum development. She joined as an Assistant Professor and is currently serving as Program Director at the Department of Media and Communication at MIT World Peace University, Pune. Her areas of specialization include Advertising, Branding, Consumer Psychology, Consumer Behaviour, Media Psychology and Strategic Communication.
She has held several key academic and administrative responsibilities, including academic planning and coordination, internship and placement coordination, curriculum development, and industry engagement initiatives. She has played an instrumental role in strengthening experiential learning opportunities, fostering collaborations with media organizations, and facilitating industry-academia partnerships to enhance student employability.
Her academic interests focus on the integration of Artificial Intelligence into media education and innovative teaching-learning practices. She has presented and published research in the areas of media, communication, advertising,psychology and neuro marketing . Through her teaching, research, and institutional service, Dr. Nair remains committed to preparing future media professionals with the knowledge, ethical values, and technological competencies required to thrive in the rapidly evolving media landscape.
Educational Qualifications : Ph.D. in Journalism & Mass Communication on “Impact of Colours in Advertising and its role on the Psychology of Television viewers” from Renaissance University, Indore in 2022.
Certificate Program in ‘Sustainable Business Strategy’ from Harvard Business School in 2021.
M.B.A. (Media Management) from EMRC, DAVV, Indore in 2010.
B.A. (Hons.) Journalism & Mass Communication from SJMC, DAVV, Indore in 2008.
