Dr. Anil Tukaram Pawar

Bio
Dr. Anil Pawar is an Associate Professor and Head of Pharmacology, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the School of Health Sciences and Technology, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune, with over 17 years of experience in academic teaching, research, and industry. He holds a B. Pharm from Savitribai Phule Pune University, an M. Pharm from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology. He has published more than 40 research articles and several review papers, authored books and book chapters, and holds five patents. He has guided M. Pharm students and is currently supervising Ph.D. scholars. Dr. Pawar has also received consultancy grants, reflecting his engagement in applied research and industry collaboration, and has established strong national and international research collaborations. He is a member of several prestigious professional associations, including the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS), Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER), International Association for the Study of Traditional Asian Medicine (IASTAM-India), and the Laboratory Animal Science Association of India (LASAI). He has received multiple awards for excellence in teaching and research, including the Ideal Teacher Award by Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER), Pune.
