Bio
Mr. Amir Shikalgar is a Practitioner turned Academician. He is a successful professional with 30+ years of multi-faceted experience across industries like FMCG, Retail, IT, Training and Education in India and abroad.
Mr. Amir Shikalgar began his career as a Management Trainee with Britannia Industries Ltd., where he rose to the position of Sales Operations Manager. Subsequently, he joined Frito Lay India as Regional Sales Manager – West. Over the years, he has held key roles at companies such as Conagra Foods and NIS Sparta, taking on diverse responsibilities across functions.
He also served as Head – Sales Capability Building at PepsiCo (Beverages). His international assignment was with Ajmal Perfumes, where he led operations across Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Malaysia. In leadership roles, he has worked as Vice President at VitalSmarts India and as National Head at Pragati Leadership.
He has worked with the School of Retail Management at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, Pune. Mr. Amir Shikalgar was also a visiting faculty at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. He has trained and guided 2000+ students, UG as well as PG, till date in various Engineering and Management Institutes.
He is currently working with the School of Business, MIT World Peace University, Kothrud, Pune Mr. Amir Shikalgar is a Certified Trainer in four international training programs-
He has worked with prestigious clients across various industries. His client list includes Accenture, Caterpillar, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity Investments, Hettich, Infosys, Ministry of MSME, Mitsubishi, PI Industries, TCS, Vivo, etc.
