Bio
Dr. Alamgir Sani is a distinguished academician and professional with over 24 years of combined experience across academia and industry, marked by a rich blend of teaching, research, and corporate exposure. He holds a Ph.D. in Management (Marketing) from Patna University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Aligarh Muslim University, and has qualified the UGC- NET. Dr. Sani’s corporate tenure includes impactful roles such as Cargo Manager with the Airports Authority of India and customer operations with EXL Services and DHL, which provided him deep expertise in logistics, air cargo operations, and global supply chains.
Transitioning to academia, he has held prominent teaching and administrative positions at institutions such as MIT-WPU, PIBM Pune, Brainware University Kolkata, Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi and Sharda University (Greater Noida), among others, where he actively contributed to curriculum development, NAAC accreditation, and student mentoring. He is a prolific researcher with numerous SCOPUS, ABDC, and UGC-CARE indexed publications, and has presented widely at national and international conferences. His areas of expertise include marketing, digital transformation, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies in business. Dr. Sani also holds design patents, is a lifetime member of professional bodies, and has played key roles in organizing international conferences, making him a well-rounded scholar- practitioner dedicated to academic excellence, industry engagement, and nation-building through education.
He has published over 25 research papers in high impact journals and edited one book. He holds two patents and one copyrights, including one UK design patent on “Automated Inventory Management Device using RFID technology”.
