Dr. Aditi Mukherjee Chakravorty

Bio

Dr. Aditi Mukherjee Chakravorty holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. She also earned an LL.M. from Indian Law Society’s (ILS) Law College, Pune, and a B.A. LL.B. from New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune. Additionally, she qualified the UGC-NET and expanded her expertise with diplomas in Taxation Laws and Corporate Laws. Before joining the WPU School of Law, Dr. Aditi served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, GD Goenka University, Delhi NCR, and Christ (Deemed to be University) – Delhi NCR Campus, where she handled both academic and administrative responsibilities. Prior to her academic tenure, she worked as a Research Fellow at the Centre for WTO Studies, IIFT, New Delhi, contributing to the Trade Policy Division (SPS/TBT/TRIPS) of the Department of Commerce, Government of India. She also gained industry experience as a Legal Associate in a Hyderabad-based firm, specializing in due diligence and contract management. Dr. Aditi has made significant scholarly contributions, with research publications in esteemed journals indexed in Scopus, ABDC, and UGC CARE. She has also actively participated in international and national conferences and seminars, presenting her research on various legal issues.
