Bio

Abhijit B. Bendre earned his PhD in Astrophysics from the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics in Potsdam. He has been a researcher at several institutions, including the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) in Pune, India, the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland and Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) in Pisa in Italy. His research interests are cosmic magnetic fields, nonlinear dynamo theory, galactic dynamos, the interstellar medium (ISM), and cosmic ray dynamos. His past research focuses on exploring the mechanisms behind the generation of magnetic fields in various celestial objects and their connection to turbulence.
