Dr. Abhijeet Subhash Sutar is a distinguished academician and researcher in the domain of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis, currently serving as Program Director) at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. With over 20 years of extensive teaching and research experience, he has consistently contributed to academic excellence, research innovation, and student mentorship.

He earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Pune University in 2002, followed by a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Shivaji University in 2005, and was awarded a Ph.D. in Pharmacy by Shivaji University in 2021. His doctoral research focused on advanced analytical methodologies and pharmaceutical quality evaluation.

Dr. Sutar has successfully guided more than 15 undergraduate and 12 postgraduate and currently 3 research scholars registered for PhD research projects, fostering a strong research culture among students. He has been recognized for the quality and relevance of his research through competitive research grants totalling ₹4.2 lakhs from BCUD, Savitribai Phule Pune University.

He is also the author of a book in Pharmaceutical Analysis and has published multiple research articles in reputed national and international journals. His work is particularly recognized for integrating advanced chemometric tools and modern analytical technologies into pharmaceutical research, aligning with contemporary regulatory and industrial expectations.
