The World Technology Summit India 2025, a landmark two-day global event hosted at MIT-WPU Pune, concluded on an inspiring note, marking a significant milestone in global dialogue on technology, science, health, and education.
The summit brought together innovators, thinkers, policymakers, industry leaders, and changemakers from across the world — united by a shared purpose: to shape the future of technology, science, health, and education.
The summit opened with a welcome note by Dr. R. M. Chitnis, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, MIT-WPU Pune, followed by the felicitation of eminent global leaders:

The summit featured powerful sessions exploring India's digital economy vision, balancing data-driven decisions with human-centered intelligence, and examining AI's transformative impact on humanity and education. MIT-WPU Pune students engaged in compelling debates on artificial intelligence, while young innovators showcased breakthrough ideas celebrating the next generation of entrepreneurs.

A live podcast with World Technology co-founders celebrated human ingenuity, while a founders' circle brought together successful entrepreneurs sharing insights on scaling vision into reality.
These sessions were further strengthened by the presence of Dr. Prasad D. Khandekar, Chief Academic Officer, MIT-WPU Pune, and Dr. Ganesh Kakandikar, Dean – Innovation, Startup & Collaborations, MIT-WPU Pune, who served as the Convener for WTS25.
