Virtual Engineering Physics Laboratory Activity at MIT-WPU

The Engineering Physics faculty of the Department of First-Year Engineering, MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, conducted the Virtual Engineering Physics Laboratory Activity every semester to strengthen the conceptual and practical understanding of Engineering Physics among first-year students.

The activity leveraged Virtual Labs and PhET Simulations, enabling students to explore physics concepts through interactive digital experiments and connect theoretical knowledge with real-world engineering applications. Students gained practical exposure to key areas such as Wave Optics, Lasers, and Semiconductor Applications, while developing a deeper understanding of fundamental engineering principles.

Through these regular laboratory activities, students enhanced their analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and digital learning skills while gaining confidence in applying theoretical concepts in practical contexts.

The initiative reflected MIT-WPU's commitment to experiential and outcome-based engineering education, providing students with technology-enabled learning experiences that strengthened their foundation in Engineering Physics.
