SYNTROPY 2026 Showcased Innovation, Research, and Engineering Excellence

The Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering at MIT-WPU, Pune, successfully organised SYNTROPY 2026 from 26th to 28th March 2026. Centred around the theme "Brewing Brilliance," the three-day event brought together students to showcase their technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through a series of engaging competitions and activities.

The event featured paper and poster presentations, mock placement rounds, domain-specific workshops, and interactive challenges, including Mat Shark, Pick n Play, Risk Resolve, Scribble the System, Jeopardy, Escape the Lab, Treasure Hunt, and Fungus Warfare. Participants also took part in a cultural evening that celebrated talent beyond academics.

SYNTROPY 2026 provided students with a platform to strengthen their technical knowledge, enhance teamwork and communication skills, and apply classroom learning to real-world engineering challenges, reflecting MIT-WPU's commitment to experiential learning and innovation.
