SoET Students Experience Holistic Learning Through Immersive LTC Visit

Students from the School of Engineering and Technology (SoET), MIT-WPU, Pune recently participated in an immersive learning experience at the Life Transformation Centre (LTC), designed to foster personal growth, leadership, discipline, and community engagement. Students from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), and Civil Engineering actively participated in a variety of experiential activities, including agriculture, military training, sports, team-building exercises, and community living. The Life Realisation Program also encouraged students to take responsibility for daily activities, helping them develop self-reliance and a strong sense of discipline.

Through hands-on learning and collaborative experiences, participants enhanced essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, communication, and social responsibility. The agriculture-based activities offered insights into sustainable practices, while the team- building and physical training sessions strengthened problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.

The immersive experience enabled students to step beyond conventional classroom learning and embrace a more holistic approach to education. By combining technical education with character development, the program reinforced MIT-WPU's commitment to nurturing future- ready professionals who are not only academically competent but also socially conscious and value-driven leaders.
