A 24-Hour National-Level Cybersecurity Hackathon & CTF (Ciphathon 2026) on 27–28 March 2026, was jointly hosted by the School of Computer Science & Engineering and the School of Engineering & Technology at MIT World Peace University.
This event marks a proud milestone for the university as it was the first-ever 24-hour hackathon conducted at MIT-WPU. The hackathon witnessed an incredible participation of 208 students from 15+ states across India, including Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and many more—making it truly a national celebration of talent, innovation, and cybersecurity excellence.
We were privileged to host esteemed experts and leaders from organizations such as Quick Heal Technologies, C-DAC, Rivedix, SysTools, DeepCytes, and Tata Consultancy Services, along with 12 distinguished industry judges who enriched the event with their valuable insights.
