National Academic Immersion Programme at NIT Goa

The Department of Computer Science and Applications at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, successfully conducted the National Academic Immersion Programme (NAIP) at NIT Goa for third-year BCA and B.Sc. students. Conducted across three batches, the six-day programme witnessed the participation of 489 students and 14 faculty members.

Designed to bridge academic learning with practical exposure, the programme featured intensive sessions on Machine Learning and Deep Learning, covering key concepts such as regression, classification, deep neural networks, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), and Autoencoders through expert-led lectures and hands-on workshops.

Beyond technical learning, the immersion programme encouraged cross-cultural learning, teamwork, and collaborative problem-solving through experiential activities and industry exposure. The initiative strengthened students' technical capabilities while enhancing their adaptability, communication skills, and overall professional readiness, reflecting MIT-WPU's commitment to experiential and industry-oriented education.
