National Academic Immersion Programme at MCOPS, MAHE, Manipal


The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Health Sciences and Technology, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, successfully conducted the National Academic Immersion Programme (NAIP) 2026 at the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal.

The National Academic Immersion Programme provided students with an enriching experiential learning opportunity at one of India's premier institutions for pharmaceutical education. Through advanced teaching-learning practices, exposure to state-of-the-art research facilities, hands-on laboratory training, interdisciplinary interactions, and collaborative academic sessions, the programme enhanced students' academic and professional competencies while broadening their perspectives on pharmaceutical sciences.

More than 100 pharmacy students from MIT-WPU, accompanied by faculty members, participated in the week-long immersion programme. The students engaged in interactive learning sessions, scientific discussions, laboratory demonstrations, and collaborative activities that strengthened their understanding of contemporary pharmaceutical education, research, and industry practices.

The immersion programme offered students valuable exposure to contemporary research, innovative teaching methodologies, and collaborative learning environments, enabling them to gain practical insights beyond the classroom and strengthen their academic and professional outlook.

The successful completion of the National Academic Immersion Programme reaffirmed MIT-WPU's commitment to experiential education, academic excellence, and preparing students to excel in the evolving fields of healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences.
