MIT-WPU's Business Leadership Series: Fostering Leadership and Innovation

The Ramcharan School of Leadership at MIT-WPU recently hosted a two-day Business Leadership Series, aimed at equipping students with entrepreneurial and leadership skills. The event, themed Entrepreneurship with Purpose, reflected Executive President Dr. Rahul Karad’s vision of preparing students for professional success by fostering industry-ready competencies and leadership excellence.

Keynote Speakers and Insights

The series featured an impressive roster of speakers who shared their expertise on leadership, innovation, and societal impact:

• Dr. Ram Charan, renowned global advisor to CEOs and corporate boards, and school mentor, delivered a keynote emphasising the evolving dynamics of leadership in shaping the future.
• Ashim Patil, Founder & CEO of i-TEK RFID, illustrated how technology can be leveraged to drive social change.
• Prof. Dr. G Raghuram, former Director of IIM Bangalore, advocated for purpose-driven entrepreneurship, urging students to align their ventures with societal progress.
• Sudhir Mehta, Chairman & Managing Director of Pinnacle Industries Limited and Founder & Chairman of EKA Mobility, shared strategic insights on innovation and market sustainability.
• Jawahar Kanjilal, Founder & CEO of Streamz.ai, discussed the intersection of entrepreneurship and technology in achieving social transformation.
