MIT-WPU, Pune Students Explore Global Engineering Ecosystems in China

Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) students from MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, participated in an international immersion programme in China, gaining first-hand exposure to global engineering practices, advanced manufacturing technologies, and academic excellence.

As part of the programme, students visited the S-Factory Exhibition in Shanghai, the Volkswagen Manufacturing Facility, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. These immersive experiences provided valuable insights into smart manufacturing, automation, Industry 4.0 practices, and cutting-edge engineering innovation while enabling students to observe global industry standards and technological advancements.

The programme also fostered cross-cultural learning, encouraging students to broaden their perspectives, engage with diverse environments, and develop a deeper appreciation of engineering in an international context.
