MIT-WPU Organises Moot Court Skills Training Session for Aspiring Legal Professionals


The School of Law at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, organised a training session titled "Mastering the Art: Training Session on Moot Court Skills" on 23 August 2025. The session aimed to equip students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to excel in moot court competitions and courtroom advocacy.

Designed to strengthen students' advocacy capabilities, the training covered key aspects of competitive mooting, including memorial drafting, legal research, case analysis, courtroom etiquette, and oral advocacy. Participants gained practical insights into structuring legal arguments, presenting persuasive submissions, and developing effective courtroom communication skills.

The interactive session also highlighted the importance of clarity, confidence, critical thinking, and sound legal reasoning in advocacy. Through expert guidance and engaging discussions, students were encouraged to refine their research, drafting, and presentation skills while building confidence for national and international moot court competitions.
