MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, successfully hosted the National Science and Research Technology Conclave (NSRTC) 2026 from 17–19 July 2026, bringing together eminent scientists, academicians, researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and students to deliberate on emerging trends shaping the future of science, technology, and innovation. The three-day conclave served as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and research-driven discussions.

The inaugural day featured insightful sessions on the premise of the Nobel Prize and the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, followed by the grand inauguration ceremony. Distinguished dignitaries addressed the gathering, while the prestigious Vigyan Maharshi Award and DeepTech Young Entrepreneur Awards were conferred upon eminent contributors for their exceptional achievements in science, research, and technological innovation. The inaugural ceremony also featured keynote addresses by renowned thought leaders and concluded with a special lecture on "Generation of National Wealth through Science and Technology."

Over the next two days, NSRTC 2026 featured parallel technical sessions across four thematic tracks: Reimagining Future with AI, Materials, Energy and Sustainability, Emergent Device Technologies, and New Biology and Health Sciences. The conclave brought together distinguished speakers from premier institutions including IISc Bengaluru, IITs, IISERs, CSIR laboratories, C-DAC, IIITs, Serum Institute of India, and other leading research organizations. Discussions explored cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence, sustainable energy, advanced materials, semiconductors, healthcare technologies, biotechnology, quantum technologies, and indigenous innovation. Interactive roundtable discussions, poster presentations, project exhibitions, and the Scholars-to- Scientists Connect initiative further encouraged collaboration between academia, industry, and young researchers.

The conclave concluded with a valedictory session celebrating the success of NSRTC 2026, recognizing the valuable contributions of speakers, participants, and organizers. Through impactful deliberations and meaningful collaborations, the event reinforced MIT-WPU's commitment to fostering interdisciplinary research, innovation, and scientific excellence while contributing to India's vision of becoming a global leader in science and technology.
