MIT World Peace University proudly marked its 43rd Foundation Day, reflecting on over four decades of academic, social, cultural, and spiritual excellence. The celebrations paid tribute to the visionary leadership of Vishwadharmi Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad Sir, whose guidance has been instrumental in shaping the university’s remarkable journey.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Parampujya Swami Swaroopanand Swaraswati, Chairman Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, and distinguished Guests of Honour including Grammy Award Winner and Founder, Chairman, and CEO of The Garibay Institute of Soft Power and Public Diplomacy, Prof. Fernando Garibay, along with the President of the Garibay Institute, Mr. Ronald Cutler Gunnell.

Highlighting the day was the captivating programme, “Geet Vishwanath: A Journey of a Maestro,” presented by Dr. Sanjay Upadhye and Prof. Shashank Divekar. This musical homage celebrated the enduring legacy of our Founder, Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad.

The university also took this opportunity to recognise the extraordinary dedication and commitment of 9 teaching and 9 non-teaching staff members, whose tireless efforts continue to inspire and uplift the entire MIT-WPU community.

As we commemorate 43 years of vision and achievement, we look forward with renewed purpose, unity, and determination to carry forward this enduring legacy of excellence.
