MIT-WPU Celebrates the 80th Independence Day of Bharat

MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, came together to celebrate the 80th Independence Day of Bharat with pride, reverence and a renewed commitment to nation-building.

The Flag Hoisting Ceremony was held at the MIT-WPU campus in the esteemed presence of Revered Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder President, MIT-WPU, and Dr. Rahul V. Karad, Executive President, MIT-WPU. The University was honoured to welcome Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria (Retd.) – PVSM, AVSM, VM, ADC, Former Chief of the Air Staff of India, as the Chief Guest.

The celebration reflected the spirit of Bhartiyatva and reaffirmed the MIT-WPU community’s shared responsibility towards the nation and its values. The occasion also provided an opportunity to remember the courage and sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reflect on our collective responsibility towards justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.

As India marks 80 years of Independence, MIT-WPU remains committed to nurturing responsible citizens and contributing to a stronger, peaceful and progressive Bharat through education, values and meaningful nation-building.
