On 17-18 February 2025, the E-Cell at MIT-WPU hosted Maharashtra's premier entrepreneurial event, ‘MahaSummit 2025’. This event embodied MIT-WPU’s vision that entrepreneurship transcends mere ideation—it's about execution, collaboration, and creating meaningful impact, by bringing together Maharashtra's brightest minds across a dynamic two-day celebration of innovation and enterprise.

The MahaSummit launched with an inspiring inaugural ceremony featuring distinguished leaders from academia and business. MIT-WPU’s Vice Chancellor Prof. R.M. Chitnis set an inspiring tone, followed by Navnath Yewale (Founder, Yewale Amrutulya) who shared his remarkable journey from local tea seller to business magnate. Also, over 200 startups connected with prominent investors and mentors including:

Day 2 expanded the entrepreneurial ecosystem with representatives from 10+ colleges and 20+ incubators and accelerators. Dr. Rahul Karad (Executive President, MIT-WPU) delivered a powerful address on entrepreneurial thinking as a catalyst for societal transformation. The highlights for day 2 included:
