Mar 15, 2026
Twenty-nine students from the Ramcharan School of Leadership at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, successfully participated in the International Immersion Programme at the National University of Singapore (NUS). The programme combined academic learning, industry exposure, and cultural experiences to equip students with a global perspective on emerging technologies and contemporary business practices.
As part of the programme, students completed a 15-hour certification course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore, gaining insights into machine learning, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making. The academic sessions were complemented by project-based learning, where students applied AI tools and analytics to solve real-world business problems.
The immersion also included visits to leading global organisations, providing students with first-hand exposure to advancements in fintech, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, human resource analytics, and global financial markets. These industry interactions enabled students to understand how emerging technologies are transforming modern organisations and business ecosystems.
Beyond academics, students explored Singapore's rich cultural heritage and innovation-driven environment through curated visits to iconic landmarks and attractions, fostering cross-cultural understanding and global awareness.
The International Immersion Programme reflects MIT-WPU's commitment to experiential learning by providing students with international academic exposure, industry engagement, and practical learning experiences that prepare them to thrive in an increasingly interconnected global landscape.
