International Conference on Bridging Ancient and Advanced Technology of Nanomaterials

In an insightful gathering of scholars and scientists, the International Conference on Bridging Ancient and Advanced Technology delved into the fascinating connection between ancient practices and modern technological innovations. A key focus of the conference was exploring how traditional methods described in ancient texts, such as the Vedas, can be applied to create advanced materials like nanomaterials and oxides for various applications.

Several distinguished speakers highlighted the processes outlined in the Vedas, particularly those related to the making of metals and ceramics. These ancient techniques, revered for their precision and effectiveness, are now being reconsidered for modern applications in nanotechnology. A prominent discussion centered around Raja Bhoj, who was said to have possessed an aircraft fueled by mercury, indicating the advanced nature of ancient technologies.

At MIT-WPU, researchers are deeply engaged in studying nanomaterials, drawing comparisons with ancient materials and analyzing their properties. Dr. Bharat Kale, a key figure in these discussions, raised a thought-provoking question during a recent scientific brainstorming session: “Can we utilize ancient methods to produce pure forms of silicon, germanium, and titanium?” There is possibility to produce quantum materials for upcoming quantum technology. This line of inquiry could potentially unlock new methods for material synthesis, blending ancient wisdom with cutting-edge science.

Moreover, MIT-WPU is exploring research to develop scientific frameworks for understanding Ayurvedic medicines, particularly the use of mercury, gold, and silver in traditional remedies. This research aims to combine ancient knowledge with modern scientific rigor, advancing the field of Ayurvedic medicine in a way that aligns with contemporary standards.

Stay tuned for more updates on how MIT-WPU continues to bridge the gap between ancient and modern technologies, paving the way for future innovations.
