Design XPO 2026 by the MIT-WPU School of Design concluded as a vibrant four-day celebration of creativity, innovation, and interdisciplinary thinking, bringing together students, industry leaders, and design enthusiasts for an immersive and engaging experience.

Over the course of four days, the campus transformed into a dynamic design ecosystem featuring 14 curated design pavilions and showcasing 500+ innovative projects by 1000+ participants across disciplines including Product Design, Interior Design, Fashion, UX, and Visual Communication. Each exhibit reflected a thoughtful blend of cultural context, technological integration, and forward-looking design solutions.

The XPO featured a rich mix of interactive installations, experiential zones, and live demonstrations, offering visitors a hands-on engagement with design processes and outcomes. Workshops, panel discussions, and expert-led sessions added further depth, enabling meaningful conversations around emerging trends, innovation, and the future of design.

The event was graced by distinguished guests including Smt. Nandita Khaire, Director, BrandCell, UJA Global; Chandrashekhar Wyawahare, Director, Futuring Design; Siddharth Khandelwal, Founder, Pollinate Labs; Yogesh Dandekar, Founder, Sarg Design Studio; and Shantanu Rao, Product UX/UI Designer, Microsoft, whose insights and perspectives added significant value across sessions.

A key highlight of the event was the strong participation from industry professionals, academicians, and the wider community, fostering collaboration, dialogue, and knowledge exchange. The platform also enabled students to present their work to industry experts and a wider audience, reinforcing MIT-WPU, Pune ’s focus on experiential learning and industry readiness.

Design XPO 2026 successfully brought together tradition and technology, local perspectives and global relevance—creating a space where ideas translated into impact and design connected Indian creativity with the world.
