Design Bootcamp Equips Students with Industry Insights and Portfolio-Building Skills

The Career Development Centre at MIT-WPU Pune, in collaboration with the School of Design and industry partner Hire Designers, conducted a two-day Design Bootcamp to help students gain a better understanding of industry expectations and prepare for careers in the design field.

Led by industry experts Mr. Akshat Raghava, Founder, Hire Designers & Beyl Agency, and Mr. Parth Parikh, Founder, Hire Designers & Design Clinic India, the bootcamp provided students with insights into current industry trends, employer expectations and effective portfolio-building techniques.

Through practical guidance and industry perspectives, students learnt how to present their skills and creative work professionally and develop portfolios that align with industry requirements. The bootcamp also helped students understand the professional expectations of the corporate design environment and prepare for their transition from academic learning to the workplace.

The initiative reflects MIT-WPU Pune’s focus on providing students with meaningful industry exposure and opportunities to build the skills required for professional success.
