ChemTech Exhibition 2026: Mini-Chemistry Projects Showcase Learning Through Innovation

The Department of First-Year B.Tech. Engineering and Technology, MIT World Peace University, Pune, organised ChemTech Exhibition 2026, a Mini-Chemistry Project Competition conducted under Project Based Learning (PBL) for students of Engineering Chemistry.

The activity was designed to encourage students to explore research-oriented learning, develop scientific thinking, and apply their understanding of chemistry to practical challenges. Through project-based exploration, students were encouraged to read extensively, think critically, apply concepts practically, solve problems creatively, collaborate with peers, and communicate their ideas with confidence.

The projects focused on Engineering Chemistry and emerging technologies, giving students an opportunity to explore recent developments in science and engineering and understand how theoretical concepts translate into real-world applications.

The technical exhibition was held on 25 April 2026 at the Aryabhatt Building, MIT-WPU, Pune. The student projects were presented and evaluated using a defined assessment rubric, with projects ranked based on their performance. The event was graced by Dr. D. M. Badgujar, Senior Scientist-F, High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), who attended as the Chief Guest.

ChemTech Exhibition 2026 provided students with a platform to move beyond classroom learning and engage with chemistry through experimentation, problem-solving and innovation, reinforcing the role of Project Based Learning in developing practical and research-oriented skills.
