Celebrating Excellence: MIT-WPU Hosts the 15th UPSC Felicitation Ceremony Honouring India’s Future Leaders

MIT-WPU proudly hosted the 15th UPSC Felicitation Ceremony, a flagship initiative envisioned by Hon. Dr. Rahul V. Karad, Executive President , MIT-WPU to facilitate the aspirant-to-officer transition. The event not only celebrates the hard-earned success of India’s brightest civil service rankers but also lays the foundation for informed, ethical, and future-ready leadership.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome from Dr. Prasad D. Khandekar, Chief Academic Officer, MIT-WPU, setting a tone of pride and purpose. His opening was followed by an inspiring address by Dr. R. M. Chitnis, Vice Chancellor, MIT-WPU on the enduring importance of ethical leadership and national service—values that are at the heart of MIT-WPU’s mission.
The event brought together an esteemed lineup of dignitaries, including:

A standout moment was the felicitation of UPSC toppers, highlighted by the engaging Toppers’ Talk with Ms. Shakti Dubey (AIR 1, UPSC CSE 2024) and Shri. Archit Parag Dongre (AIR 3, UPSC CSE 2024). Their honest insights and personal journeys provided invaluable inspiration and guidance to future civil servants, illuminating the virtues of dedication, resilience, and service.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anjali Sane, Dean, School of Economics and Commerce, reaffirming MIT-WPU’s unwavering commitment to integrity, service, and nation-first values.
