MIT World Peace University hosted an inspiring evening of excellence, achievement and artistic brilliance with the Excellence Awards 2026 on 3 September 2026 at Atree Lawns. The occasion brought together the University community to recognise outstanding contributions and celebrate the spirit of excellence that continues to shape the institution.

The evening commenced with the World Peace Prayer, followed by a welcome address and the presentation of the Excellence Awards 2026, honouring distinguished contributions to the University.

The Excellence Awards are a celebration of individuals who demonstrate dedication, commitment and excellence in their respective roles, contributing meaningfully to the growth and development of the University. The awards recognise the efforts and achievements that strengthen the institution’s academic, administrative and extracurricular ecosystem, while inspiring others to uphold high standards of performance and service.

By recognising such contributions, the Excellence Awards reaffirm MIT-WPU’s belief that institutional excellence is built through the collective efforts of its people. The occasion served as an opportunity to acknowledge those who go beyond their responsibilities, demonstrate a strong sense of commitment and contribute towards creating a culture of excellence within the University.

A special screening on the Life Transformation Centre (LTC) was followed by a special address by Dr. Rahul V. Karad, Executive President, MIT World Peace University, who shared his thoughts and vision with the gathering.

Adding to the spirit of the evening was a mesmerising musical performance by Ms. Ganga Sasidharan, the young violin prodigy. Her captivating performance brought an artistic dimension to the occasion and made the evening truly memorable.

The Excellence Awards 2026 served as a celebration of dedication, contribution and excellence, reaffirming MIT-WPU’s commitment to recognising achievement and inspiring its community to continue striving for greater impact.
