AI Conclave 2026 Brings Together Innovation, Industry, and Emerging AI Technologies

The Department of Computer Engineering and Technology (DCET) at MIT-WPU, Pune successfully organized AI Conclave 2026, a two-day event held from 10th to 11th April 2026, bringing together students, academicians, and industry experts to explore advancements in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
The conclave served as a platform to foster innovation, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving through engaging competitions, expert talks, and hands-on learning experiences.
The first day featured an AI Project Competition and an AI Debate Competition, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. The debate competition was uniquely conducted in a gadget-less format with zero use of AI tools, encouraging authentic critical thinking and discussions around the ethical dimensions of Artificial Intelligence.
The second day included insightful expert sessions by Mr. Niranjan Pednekar from Sony Research and Mr. Arunkumar Nair from Canspirit AI, who shared valuable perspectives on emerging AI technologies and industry trends. The event also featured a hands-on workshop on Generative AI tools conducted by Mr. Akshay Magre, providing participants with practical exposure to industry-relevant AI applications.
