AAROHAN 2025-Featuring the Cascades of Oriental Mystique

On 14-16 February 2025, MIT-WPU hosted the 13th edition of its annual cultural fest AAROHAN, Pune's largest cultural extravaganza. This year, the event revolved around the theme of the "Cascades of Oriental Mystique" – leading to a mesmerising journey through Japanese cultural aesthetics that transformed our campus into a vibrant celebration of art, music, and creativity. The attendees enjoyed the theme and the vibe of the event this year and found it truly captivating.

Major Highlights from the 3-Day Ecstatic Cultural Fest

AAROHAN wasn't just a college fest—it was a cultural phenomenon that captivated the hearts of students across Pune and beyond. The three-day event was entirely organised by the students of MIT-WPU and the celebration showcased extraordinary talent, fostered creativity, and created unforgettable memories for all those who attended. Some of the major highlights from the euphoric three-day cultural fest are as follows:

Day 1 - The festival began with a grand inauguration, followed by a showcase of individual brilliance through Euphony (instrumental performances), Platform (open mic expressions), and Art Maestro (fine arts competition). Attendees witnessed powerful storytelling through Dastak (street play competition) and ended the day with professional theatre at our Theatre Fest featuring "Hum Dono Aur Suit."

Day 2 - The ground shook at Head Bang (Band Wars) while breathtaking choreography dazzled audiences at In Sync (Group Dance competition). Solo vocalists mesmerised everyone at Humming, while the evening brought dual entertainment peaks – Comedy Nite featuring renowned comics Kaustubh Agarwal and Vivek Samtani, and the International YouTubers Fest showcasing first-time international artist Nina Suerte and MTV Hustle S4 winner and a rising rap star Lash Curry.

Day 3 - Style icons took centre stage at Glamour Nova (Fashion Show) while technical perfection was on display at Inner Flame (Solo Dance). Another theatrical masterpiece delighted audiences at our second Theatre Fest with "Mickey," leading to our spectacular finale – Pronite. This legendary closing celebration featured the talented duo 'thefluteboxers,' followed by star musicians Shreya Jain and Nikhil D'souza, transforming our campus into an unforgettable musical paradise. Throughout all three days, competitive spirits tested their mettle in box cricket, box football, and various E-sports tournaments happening simultaneously across the campus.

AAROHAN 2025 represented more than just performances – it embodied the spirit of student leadership, teamwork, and creative expression. Every stunning decoration, seamless transition, and magical moment stemmed from months of passionate preparation by MIT-WPU students. The handmade creatives displayed across campus captivated visitors and perfectly embodied our Japanese cultural theme, creating an immersive experience that will be remembered for years to come.
