An Enlightened Journey of Science, Spirituality & Global Peace at MIT World Peace University, Pune.
Rooted in the timeless teachings of Philosopher Saints Shree Dnyaneshwara, Shree Tukaram, and Swami Vivekananda, the 30th Endowment Lecture Series 2025 - organised under the prestigious UNESCO Chair Programme for the “Culture of Peace”—successfully concluded at MIT World Peace University, Pune.
The inaugural ceremony was illuminated by the presence of Hon’ble Padma Shri Dr. Pramod Kale, Former Director of ISRO’s Space Applications Centre & Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, and India’s Resident Representative at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. He was accompanied by Hon’ble Dr. C. K. Bhardwaj, noted author, researcher, and spiritual scientist. Their insights set a powerful foundation for a week dedicated to understanding peace through knowledge, culture, and human consciousness.

Valedictory Ceremony
The concluding session was blessed by Revered Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder President of MIT-WPU and UNESCO Chair for Human Rights, Democracy, and Peace. He delivered a visionary address and was honoured for his exceptional leadership in nurturing the Endowment Lecture Series for 29 enriching years, building a legacy grounded in peace, wisdom, and human upliftment.
The event was graced by eminent dignitaries at Valedictory session:

The event was enriched by the presence of Dr. Rahul V. Karad, Managing Trustee & Executive President, MIT-WPU Pune; Dr. R. M. Chitnis, Vice-Chancellor, MIT-WPU Pune; and Dr. Milind Pande, Pro Vice-Chancellor, MIT-WPU Pune.
A significant milestone of the event was the inauguration of the Centre of Excellence for Sanskrit and Indian Knowledge System, symbolising MIT-WPU Pune’s dedication to advancing India’s cultural and intellectual heritage through interdisciplinary education.
The 30th Endowment Lecture Series continues to serve as a beacon that unites scientific discovery with spiritual understanding—nurturing generations committed to fostering peace, compassion, and global unity.
