The Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (BCS) stands as Bharat’s largest classroom for future political leaders. As a non-political platform, it is dedicated to strengthening the foundations of democracy, governance, and ethical leadership by encouraging educated youth to contribute to nation-building.
The 15th Edition of BCS, that held from February 21st to 23rd, 2026, at the MIT-WPU Pune, continued this legacy under the guidance of visionaries Revered Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad (Founder and Chief Patron, MIT-WPU Pune), Dr. R. A. Mashelkar (Padma Vibhushan and Eminent Scientist), Dr. Rahul V. Karad (Executive President, MIT-WPU Pune) and Dr. R.M.Chitnis (Vice Chancellor, MIT-WPU Pune).
The 15th BCS was an immersive three-day journey of leadership, wherein,
- The Day 1 commenced with the Inauguration Ceremony graced by Shri Digvijaya Singh (Hon'ble Member of Parliament), Shri Vijender Gupta (Hon'ble Speaker, Delhi Legislative Assembly), and Shri Rajdeep Sardesai (Eminent Journalist). It included thought-provoking addresses that offered diverse perspectives on democracy.
- The Day 2 featured intensive classroom sessions focused on Leadership and Governance. On this day, Shri Tarun Chugh (National General Secretary, BJP) delivered an impactful address that reminded the youth that meaningful change begins with informed, courageous ideas.
- And, the Day 3 concluded with the Valedictory Ceremony that was graced by Chief Guest Shri. Anurag Singh Thakur (Hon'ble MP, Lok Sabha) and Special Guests Dr. Sandeep Kumar Pathak (Hon'ble MP, Rajya Sabha) and Shri. Shahid Siddiqui (Eminent Journalist & Thinker).
