MIT-WPU offers a B.Tech (2nd year lateral entry) programme for Diploma holders. It allows them to enter the second year directly. Similarly, the university provides a B. Pharm (2nd year lateral entry) programme for those with a two-year diploma in Pharmacy.

Eligibility Criteria: A minimum of 60% marks in a Diploma in Engineering and Technology in the relevant branch, obtained in the academic years 2025-26, 2024-25, or 2023-24, from an AICTE-approved or Central/State Government approved Institution/Board or its equivalent. (Minimum 55% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to the Reserved Category from Maharashtra State)

This programme allows the students to advance their skills and knowledge without repeating the introductory programmes.

Eligibility Criteria: A Minimum 50% aggregate marks in a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India or in an equivalent examination.
