Prof. G. Raghuram

Dr. G. Raghuram is a distinguished academician and former Director of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B). He served as the Director of IIM-B from 2017-2020, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing the institute's global reputation and fostering a culture of excellence in both, teaching and research.

Prior to his tenure as Director, Dr. Raghuram was a Professor at IIM Ahmedabad, where he spent over three decades contributing significantly to the fields of infrastructure, transportation, and logistics. His work has been widely recognised for its impact on policy and practice in Bharat as well as internationally. He has also participated in numerous government policy-making and advisory committees.

Dr. Raghuram has also been a visiting faculty at various prestigious institutions, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of Ulster, UK. His research and academic contributions have earned him numerous accolades, and he has published extensively in leading journals. Dr. Raghuram holds a PhD from Northwestern University, along with an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras.
