Profile

Mr. Sagar is a Civil Engineer by core, with experience and interests in leveraging technology and data in construction. He has been through several life cycles of exploration, evaluation, design, and implementation of technology (tools, machines, and IT) in construction, including VDC/BIM, Lean construction, e-Procurement, SAP ERP, Robotics, Construction tools, Digitalization of various construction processes, and business/data analytics.

Mr. Sagar heads Commercial, Strategy, and Business Excellence at Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Private Limited and is involved in strategy formulation, strategic planning and initiatives, and business process engineering. He leads digital and technology initiatives for construction. He is a core team member for Operational Excellence, Business Review, and Enterprise Risk Management. His current focus areas are Robotics & Technology in Construction, Organization Design, and Knowledge Management.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors at ILCE. He has mentored a few startups in the construction technology, data analytics, and robotics space.

Mr. Sagar holds a Master’s in construction engineering & management from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune University.
