Team AVION Secures National Recognition at NIDAR 2025

MIT-WPU congratulates Team AVION (Aerial Vehicle Innovation in Operation and Navigation) for its commendable performance at NIDAR 2025, a national-level drone innovation competition held at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida.

The team presented an autonomous drone solution for disaster management, designed to support rapid disaster assessment through large-area aerial surveys, victim and hotspot identification, real-time situational awareness, and coordinated assistance for emergency response teams. The project highlighted scalable deployment, operational reliability, and a service-based model for disaster response authorities.
