Shreyasi Joshi Creates History for India at Lishui Inline Freestyle International

Shreyasi Joshi, a third-year B.Tech CSE student at MIT-WPU, has scripted a historic achievement by becoming the first Indian to win a medal at the Lishui Inline Freestyle International.

Representing India at the 2026 Lishui International Inline Freestyle Open in Lishui, China, Shreyasi secured the Bronze Medal in the Senior Women’s Classic Slalom category, competing against athletes from across the world.

The achievement adds another significant milestone to her international sporting journey. Shreyasi has previously represented India at major global competitions, including the 2025 Inline Freestyle World Championships and the World Games.

Her performance reflects her dedication, talent, perseverance, and relentless pursuit of excellence, bringing immense pride to MIT-WPU and Indian Roller Sports.
