MIT-WPU proudly congratulates Ms. Taneesha Kotecha, FY BBA (Business Analytics) student, for her remarkable table tennis achievements:

• Silver Medal in U-19 Girls at WTT Youth Contender, Havirov, Czech Republic (March 2025).
• Silver Medal in U-19 Mixed Doubles at WTT Youth Contender, Vadodara, India.
• Historic Bronze Medal in Mixed Doubles at the 29th Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

This isn’t just any medal—it is the first-ever Mixed Doubles medal from Maharashtra and only the second in Indian Table Tennis history at the Asian Junior level. Taneesha and Ankur Bhattacharjee made history by defeating Japan’s top pair, YOSHIYAMA Kazuki & MENDE Rin, in a spectacular semifinal win.
