MIT-WPU’s Vedant Tandale Wins Four Medals at 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championship 2026

MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) proudly celebrates the remarkable sporting achievement of Vedant Tandale, a First-Year B.Tech Electronics (Semiconductor & VLSI Design) student, who secured an impressive four medals at the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championship 2026.

Held from 18 to 23 August 2026 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the national championship brought together some of India’s finest young aquatic athletes. Competing in the Boys Under-18 category, Vedant demonstrated exceptional speed, endurance, and competitive spirit across multiple events.

He secured the Gold Medal in the Medley Relay, a Silver Medal in the 100m Butterfly, and Bronze Medals in the 50m Butterfly and Freestyle Relay. His impressive medal tally of one Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze Medals reflects his dedication, discipline, and commitment to sporting excellence.

Vedant’s achievement marks a significant milestone in his sporting journey and brings immense pride to the MIT-WPU community. It also reflects the university’s commitment to supporting students in pursuing excellence across academics, sports, and other areas of interest.
