MIT-WPU Tech Team Robocon Secures AIR 2 at DD Robocon India 2026

The MIT-WPU Tech Team Robocon has once again demonstrated its excellence in robotics and engineering innovation by securing All India Rank (AIR) 2 and emerging as the National Runner-up at DD Robocon India 2026, held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on 4 and 5 July 2026.

Competing against some of the country's best engineering institutions, the team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, showcasing technical expertise, innovation, teamwork, and perseverance.

The team's journey to the finals was marked by several remarkable victories:

• League Stage: Finished 4th overall
• Quarterfinal: Defeated the defending national champions
• Semifinal: Defeated the 11-time national champions
• Final: Secured AIR 2 to emerge as the National Runner-up

With this achievement, the MIT-WPU Tech Team Robocon has further strengthened its remarkable legacy in India's premier robotics competition:

• 4-time National Champions
• 4-time National Runner-up (AIR 2)
• 8 appearances in the National Finals
• Represented India five times at the prestigious ABU Robocon International Competition
