MIT-WPU Students Attend WWDC26 at Apple Park, USA

Gayatri Goundadkar and Shloka Shetty, Third-Year B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering students from the MIT-WPU iOS Development Centre, have represented MIT-WPU, Pune at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC26) held at Apple Park, Cupertino, USA, as Swift Student Challenge 2026 Distinguished Winners.

A milestone of the iOS Student Developer Program Powered by Apple and Infosys, launched at MIT-WPU in July 2025, their participation reflects the university's commitment to fostering innovation and providing students with global opportunities. As part of the event, Gayatri also had the opportunity to showcase her app and interact with Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, and incoming CEO, John Ternus.
