MIT-WPU Student Athletes Shine at Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship 2026

Student athletes from MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune have brought laurels to the University and the nation with their outstanding performances at the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship 2026, held at Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi, from 27 July to 2 August 2026.

Taneesha Kotecha, a second-year BBA Business Analytics student, delivered an exceptional performance at the championship, winning the Gold Medal in Mixed Doubles and securing the Bronze Medal in Women’s Doubles. Her Women’s Doubles partner, Sayali Wani, also a second-year BBA Business Analytics student, contributed to the medal-winning performance with her impressive showing at the championship.

The achievement adds to the athletes’ growing record of excellence at national and international competitions, highlighting their dedication, discipline, and commitment to sporting excellence.
